On Monday, February 27, 2023, the Bellingham City Council unanimously passed a resolution to negotiate their contract with SSC. The proposed changes would include replacing the current Stack Three bin recycling system with a single-stream (or commingled) system using one large Toter and adding FoodPlus! curbside composting to all basic residential service.
